- Build trusted relationships with national security customers and OEM partners
- Shape the positioning and technical articulation of our capabilities with high-value customers
- Coach regional sales teams on technical go-to-market strategies
- Partner with product and engineering teams to shape roadmaps and respond to complex requirements
- Translate concepts of operations (CONOPS) into integration strategies
- Serve as the technical lead for solution engineering integrations involving geospatial and satellite imagery and full motion video within the IG sales activities
- Provide direct technical and engineering guidance to customers during integration and field testing
- Deliver custom demonstrations and rapid prototypes for customer evaluations
- Lead the co-development of technical content for RFPs, RFIs, and tenders
- Qualify integration feasibility, including SWaP requirements, guide solution design, and ensure successful deployment
- Communicate effectively across internal product, engineering, and field teams
- Apply your domain experience in ISR, AI/ML, and geospatial intelligence to contextualize customer missions and integration needs
- Understand and assess the customer’s technical environment, including constraints, interfaces, and operational workflows
- Engage with both program and engineering stakeholders to map mission needs to system integration pathways
- Contribute to mission planning discussions, helping identify how Maxar capabilities can best be adapted or deployed
- Collaborate directly with OEMs and end users to support proof-of-concept efforts, field testing, and early integration success
- Be resourceful and flexible in the face of real-world complexity — helping customers bridge the gap between concept and deployment
- Active UK or US government security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Math)
- Experience supporting ISR, UAS, aerospace, or defense system integrations
- Familiarity with GNSS/INS navigation systems, video odometry, or visual-inertial fusion stacks
- Exposure to SLAM, SfM, or bundle adjustment techniques in real-world applications.
- Experience working with ISR-relevant imagery and video formats, such as GeoTIFF, MPEG-TS, KLV metadata, H.264/H.265, STANAG 4609, MISB and working with image matching techniques (e.g., SIFT, ORB, SURF)
- Understanding of 3D terrain data formats (e.g., DEM/DTED, Cesium 3D Tiles) and coordinate systems (e.g., WGS84, UTM)
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks like OpenCV, PyTorch, GDAL, Cesium, or Unity.
- Practical knowledge of embedded Linux platforms (e.g., Jetson, Raspberry Pi, NXP) and their deployment environments
- Experience supporting integration with SDKs and APIs (REST, gRPC, file-based, or stream interfaces) in real-time or batch contexts
- Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash for integration testing, data movement, or automation workflows
- Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and field teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically or internationally (average ~25%, with peaks up to 50%)
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Vision, or a related technical field
- Exposure to Linux-based embedded systems and configurations (e.g., systemd, Yocto, Docker)
- Familiarity with OGC geospatial standards (WMS, WMTS, WFS) or real-time geospatial streaming protocols
- Experience working with sensor calibration, test plans, or field deployments of ISR or robotics systems
- Demonstrated success integrating technical systems in a customer-facing or OEM support role
- Background in AI/ML applications related to computer vision, sensor fusion, or ISR analytics
- Experience conducting technical feasibility assessments for mission-critical platforms (airborne, mobile, or edge)
