pursue what mattersAramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef Assistant to join our team working at Richmond Centre, Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ.You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service throughout. This is a permanent full-time 35 hours per week position, working hours 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends). Shifts range between 6:30am and 3:00pm leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary.
Hourly rate £12.21.

A day in the life of a Chef Assistant:

Assisting Chefs with day-to-day cooking and prepping of food, such as sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food with the potential to train to get your NVQ Level 2 in culinary skills.
Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
Stocking up and putting away deliveries
General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

You will be set up for success if you have:

Been resident in the UK for at least 3 years and can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
Strong communication and are an excellent team player.
Flexibility and the ability to innovate.
Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
