Transmission Engineer required. My client is a long-established specialist of Automatic gearboxes based in Hertfordshire that is now looking to hire a new Transmission Engineer. The ideal candidate will come from an Automotive maintenance background, be proficient in working on a range of Automatic boxes (CVT, DSG, etc.) and will be based within a commutable distance of March.Transmission Engineer Position Overview
Stripping Automatic gearboxes from a range of vehicles
Tearing down transmissions and finding faults
Undertaking repair / remedial works
Performing testing on repaired components to ensure viability
Fitting components into a range of vehicles
Transmission Engineer Position Requirements
Previous experience in a Mechanical maintenance position
Strong Automotive fitting / repair experience
Strong experience working on DSG, CTV or Automatic gearboxes & transmissions
Competent in the disassembly, fault finding, repair and fitting of Automotive components
Must own your own tools
Based within a commutable distance of March
Transmission Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Monday - Friday 8:00 - 17:30
28 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
