MOT Tester or Technician / MOT Tester Required in Horsham, West Sussex
  • Salary: £35,000 Basic for MOT Testers or up to £38,000 - £40,000 for Experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Testers depending on experience
  • Hours: 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday (No Weekends)
Our client's family-run car garage in Horsham is looking to add a qualified MOT Tester to their team, and they are also open to experienced Vehicle Technicians who either hold or are working toward an MOT licence. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional yet relaxed setting with a close family run team.Key Responsibilities as a MOT Technician:
  • Conducting MOT tests to ensure vehicles meet all safety and compliance standards.
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues identified during the MOT or service process, with clear communication to customers.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Using advanced diagnostic equipment and collaborating closely with a team of skilled technicians.
  • Vehicle Mechanic work; servicing and mot repairs (if applying as a Technician / Tester)
Requirements as a MOT Technician:
  • A valid MOT testing licence or experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician with the goal of obtaining an MOT licence.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
