As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with pupils of all abilities, motivating them to participate, develop new skills, and enjoy physical activity in a safe and supportive environment.Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Plan and deliver sports sessions that are fun, engaging, and inclusive.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
- Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, and essential skills through sport.
- Encourage participation, motivation, and enjoyment in a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activities into the wider school curriculum.
- Previous experience delivering sports coaching in schools, clubs, or community settings is desirable.
- Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, confident, and able to inspire young people.
- Ability to adapt activities to suit different age groups and abilities.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
