So what's your next change?This role works to support the company in the area of business acquisition; coordinating and leading competitiveness engineering activities for studies, proposals and future projects. Working as part of the bid team, the scope of the role is mainly the collation and modelling of data and the analysis of cost and price data to establish a quotation baseline.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
  • Coordinate bid preparation with all stakeholders to ensure competitiveness of EOS binding and non-binding offers
  • Influence stakeholders to further develop and optimise the corresponding processes
  • Participate and lead engineering decisions necessary for cost-efficient development and production of EOS products and product families
  • Lead the process to model, collate and estimate EOS implementation projects, including price to win, design to cost, value for money optimisation, profitability and liquidity targets, implementing the win strategy and ensuring satisfaction of customer and regulatory requirements and programme cost and schedule needs.
  • Timely preparation and submission of the financial proposal and support w.r.t. schedule, cost, and risk management aspects up to final customer acceptance
ABOUT YOU
  • Engineering degree and/or finance or qualified through relevant experience
  • Demonstrable cost engineering and or cost estimating experience across multiple, complex projects
  • Aerospace industry would be highly advantageous
  • Experienced using databases and parametric estimating tools
  • Hold an appreciation for how the “most technically advanced” solution isn’t always the best option, sometimes “reliable and secure” are better suited.
