💰 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceAre you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? Prospero Teaching is working with a fantastic school in Taunton that is seeking a 1:1 SEN TA to support a student with additional needs starting this September.The Role:
  • Provide 1:1 support for a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and social development
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
  • Monitor progress and adapt support as needed
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) is desirable
  • A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
