I’m working with one of the best mid-tier firms in the United Kingdom who are experiencing organic growth in their Retail and Hospitality client-focused Audit team. This is a Partner-led practice with a strong reputation for personal development and delivering tailored, high-quality services to clients across a range of sectors. This opportunity is ideal for a highly experienced Audit Manager or newly promoted Senior Manager with a proven track record of working with relevant clients in a practice environment.Based out of Central London, this is an exciting chance to join a mature and supportive firm, and lead a portfolio of sector-specific clients while contributing to the growth of a high-performing division.Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of retail and hospitality clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Lead audits across both controls-based and substantive approaches, managing timelines and budgets effectively
  • Identify and support with developing new business prospects
  • Oversee group reporting for large domestic audits and cross-border engagements
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to the overall growth of the audit practice
  • Support partners with additional assignments including valuations, due diligence, and client advisory work
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, FRS 101 & 102
  • Experience managing end to end audits and reporting processes
  • Experience with pitches, tenders or any prospective business development is a plus
  • Demonstrable leadership experience, including managing direct reports
  • Proven background working with sector relevant clients in a practice setting
