This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality, bespoke projects with an organisation recognised for excellence and innovation across multiple sectors worldwide.The RoleAs a Metal Fabricator / Welder, you'll be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality metal components to exact specifications. You'll be working in a fast-paced factory environment, producing precision pieces for projects across industries such as marine, luxury residential, commercial, and more.Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating and assembling metal components to engineering drawings and jigs.
- Carrying out a variety of MIG and TIG welding tasks to a consistently high standard.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as bandsaws, drills, and rollers.
- Dressing welds and polishing materials to ensure first-class finishes.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
- Supporting the wider production team to meet project deadlines.
- Strong experience in MIG & TIG welding and stainless-steel fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Skilled in working with jigs, fixtures, and hand-built fabrications.
- Proficient in using workshop machinery and tools (experience with guillotines and press brakes is an advantage).
- A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Competitive salary £37,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
- Day-shift role with early finish on Fridays.
