Act as lead to professionally promote and sell Trouw Nutrition ruminant products and services to existing and potential customers in the Southern region of Ireland. Establish and maintain good relations. Act as a technical and commercial lead, with customers in the animal feed industry in this region.Job Description:Key AccountabilitiesEstablish and develop strong customer relationships, which allows for good business relations, reinforced by sales and technical support.Develop account plans to achieve sales targets and deliver on customer objectives, supported by colleagues in sales, technical and management.Provide advice to customers on topics including ruminant nutrition, animal husbandry, laboratory services, quality control and feed legislation. This is achieved by engagement with persons in the different sectors of the customer’s business, including sales, technical, nutritional, quality and management.Participate in the launch and promotion of Trouw Nutrition products (mineral premix, feed additives, calf milk replacer, animal health products) and nutritional services.Identify and convert customer opportunities to sales.Proactively align the demands and expectations of Trouw Nutrition business objectives with maximum customer satisfaction.Help organise customized customer seminars, customer staff training, on farm customer support. Help coordinate applicable customer marketing activities.Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:Bachelor or Master’s degree in Agricultural Science/Animal Nutrition.Sales and account management experience in a business-to-business environment is desirable.Good knowledge of animal nutrition and the animal nutrition industry.Proven track record in presenting value-based sales proposals and winning long term customer loyalty is desirable.Experience in developing and nurturing positive working relationships.Competencies:Technical knowledgeCommercial orientationAbility to build and maintain effective relationshipsResult oriented, passionate and persistentStrong negotiation skillsOrganised, good project management skillsCollaborator and team playerGood communicator at all levels within a business.
