The Role:As a MET Technician, you'll be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and trim work required to return damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition.Key Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle and reassemble vehicles in accordance with job cards and repair estimates.
  • Work to manufacturer methods and safety standards.
  • Identify and report any additional repair work required.
  • Ensure all parts are fitted correctly and unused parts are returned for credit.
  • Complete all jobs to a high standard within estimated timescales.
  • Supervise and support non-qualified or junior team members where needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Bodyshop MET Technician role.
  • ATA Accreditation (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim skills.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to follow repair methods and complete work within timeframes.
