· Develop and oversee 4 existing purchasing staff across this global business
· Manage all direct and indirect procurement for the business
· Oversee a total UK spend of circa £75-£150 million
· Review and implement new SLAs for the business and is suppliers and KPI's for the staff
· Assess how to get best value out of the current procurement relationships (100-150) and where needed, increase/rationalise supplier portfolioThis is a genuine opportunity to have input into changing a procurement platform in a large and established business and will require a candidate who is strong willed and confident in their approach with experience in similar change and growth.REQUIREMENTS : Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Buying Manager, Category Manager - manufacturer, fasteners, automotiveIdeally, you will be a qualified procurement specialist holding either CIPs / MCIPs or the equivalent and have some direct working experience in the automotive industry.
