
Electrical Design Engineer

- Design Development: Deliver high-quality electrical designs that meet the technical requirements, constraints, and deliverables outlined in the Project Initiation Document, Requirements Document, or as directed by Engineering Management.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation that clearly communicates intent to internal engineering teams, external partners, and suppliers. Ensure all documentation complies with current Health & Safety regulations and relevant industry standards. Create and manage BoM, parts and assemblies in conjunction with Mechanical Engineers and project leaders
- Project Planning & Estimation: Provide accurate time estimates for assigned tasks and maintain up-to-date project documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Risk & Planning Input: Contribute proactively to project planning activities, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Participate constructively in project meetings as required by the Senior Director of Engineering, offering insights and updates on design progress and challenges.
- Requirements Analysis: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to extract, interpret, and validate technical requirements. Document these in a formal requirements specification and maintain alignment with evolving customer needs.
- Change Management: Update and manage the requirements documentation to reflect agreed changes, ensuring traceability and transparency throughout the project.
- 3D CAD expertise (preferably SolidWorks)
- Understanding of design for manufacturing and value engineering processes
- Hands on approach to workshop prototyping
- Experience of design within the gaming industry is desirable
- Experience of Oracle MRP Manufacturing & Agile PLM
