- Develop and refine Human Factors requirements for physical user controls, ensuring they align with industry standards and project goals.
- Analyse quality data related to user controls and utilise insights to enhance requirements and solve issues.
- Provide Human Factors expertise in the design and development of new physical user interfaces.
- Conduct Human Factors assessments, including evaluations of human error and workload, to optimise user interaction.
- Perform requirement testing and produce detailed reports to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with UX Designers and Product Owners to integrate user controls into the overall vehicle user experience.
- Knowledge of ergonomics, human factors, and user interface design principles.
- A basic understanding of scientific theories related to user interface design.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to convey concepts and resolve issues with stakeholders.
- Preferably, experience in an automotive environment and familiarity with Agile planning tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
