- Maintain and monitor supplier and raw material approval systems.
- Assist with supplier audits and manage supplier documentation.
- Support internal audits (BRC, GMP, CCP, Hygiene, etc.).
- Help complete and review product specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor supply chain risks and conduct horizon scanning.
- Manage traceability schedules and customer documentation.
- Support technical management during audits and customer visits.
- Collaborate with departments like NPD and Purchasing.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or related field.
- 5+ years in food manufacturing or produce processing.
- Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, food safety, and food legislation.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word/Excel).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with technical specifications and audit support.
- Training in HACCP, TACCP/VACCP, and auditing is a plus.
- £33,000 per annum.
- 5% bonus scheme.
- Core hours will be 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00.
