We have an exciting opportunity in the Emotional Health and Resilience Service for a 37.5 hour Family Health Practitioner.For more information please see the job description and person specification attached.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will work as part of the children's community health commissioned service under the direction and supervision of a Band 6 Caseload Holder contributing to the provision of high quality services for children young people, parents, carers and families working within the framework of the Healthy Child Programme and Best Start In Life priorities.   • Experience of working with and supporting parents and families.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences both written and verbally.
  • Skills for analysing child related situations to enable provision of appropriate advice.
  • Provide evidence based childcare advice and guidance to parents/carers regarding care needs, learning, safety, play and therapy programmes.
Desirable
  • Childcare qualification.
  • Knowledge of the Solihull Approach model.
  • Working with a range of statutory and voluntary organisations.
