Teaching Personnel are looking for a fantastic humanities teacher teacher to join an ‘outstanding’ school within North Somerset up until the end of the academic year. This position has the potential to move onto the schools’ contract at the end of the academic year for the right educatior.The department is always self-reflective and has very high teaching and learning standards. Aiming to keep improving pedagogy by sharing good practice and joint planning. Working collaboratively with other schools in the trust to develop the curriculum and develop staff pedagogy. Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching geography, history and / or religious education at secondary school level
  • Strong subject knowledge in maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check (can be applied through Teaching Personnel)
  • 2 school based references
