Are you a digital leader with a passion for user experience and data-driven transformation? Guildford Borough Council is seeking a Web and CRM Lead to shape the future of our digital services and customer engagement.About the RoleAs Web and CRM Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital roadmap - managing and evolving our website and Salesforce CRM systems to deliver seamless, user-focused services. You’ll lead a small team of digital professionals and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure our platforms are intuitive, accessible and aligned with organisational goals.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and optimisation of the council’s website and Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage and mentor the CRM Administrator and Web Editors.
  • Oversee CRM workflows, dashboards, integrations, and data integrity.
  • Conduct content audits and maintain content schedules.
  • Interpret analytics and user feedback to drive improvements.
  • Develop and implement digital communication policies and best practices.
  • Support front-end development tasks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Coordinate development requests and liaise with technical teams and vendors.
  • Champion continuous improvement and digital innovation.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree-level education and Salesforce ADM201/ADM211 certification. You must have at least two years working on a Salesforce CRM.
  • Extensive experience in CRM administration and website management.
  • Strong knowledge of digital accessibility, content strategy, and data governance.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel and Visio.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to public service values.
