Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am - 4:15pm
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent OpportunityAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for experienced Casting Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. This role is based within the continuous casting department, producing small polyurethane mouldings and bushes for a wide range of applications.As a Casting Operative, you will be responsible for manufacturing polyurethane products by casting into steel and aluminium moulds, using a combination of dispensing machines and some hand-mixed systems.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous casting experience who are looking to secure a long-term position within a growing business.Key Responsibilities
- Operate casting machinery and hand-mixing systems to produce polyurethane mouldings and bushes.
- Work with steel and aluminium moulds, ensuring accuracy and quality at all times.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail and strong numerical ability to measure and mix materials correctly.
- Work effectively within a small, close-knit team to meet production targets.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Troubleshoot minor issues with machines or processes to maintain smooth production.
