🕒 Contract Type: AgencyWe're looking for an experienced and committed Qualified Social Worker to join a Children's Locality Team in South Wales - a key role supporting children and families through Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings. 🌟 What You'll Be Doing:
- Hold a mixed caseload of CIN, CP, and care proceedings cases
- Build strong relationships with children and families to drive meaningful change
- Make clear, evidence-based assessments and decisions about the right interventions
- Collaborate with other professionals across education, health, and legal services
- Maintain high standards of practice and statutory compliance
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- 4+ years post-qualified experience, ideally in children's services
- Strong knowledge of Child Protection legislation and safeguarding frameworks
- Skilled in building trust with children and families
- Creative, flexible, and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Confident in multi-agency working and court proceedings
