The role of Trade Compliance & Sanctions Manager involves overseeing compliance with trade regulations and sanctions requirements for a leading technology & telecoms organisation. This is an opportunity to implement and manage policies within the legal department, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and guidelines from the London HQ.The Trade Compliance & Sanctions Manager will be part of a small global team and will:
  • Develop and implement trade compliance and sanctions policies in line with legal requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate business activities to ensure adherence to trade regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on sanctions-related matters to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
  • Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries or investigations.
  • Deliver training sessions to staff on trade compliance and sanctions guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of compliance activities and reporting requirements.
  • Support the legal department in handling complex regulatory issues.
