Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Northern Ireland, specialising in the design and production of high-precision, heavy-duty machinery. They are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team and support the production of bespoke, high-quality components.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances.Work from technical drawings and CAD models to deliver high-quality finished parts.Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure components meet the required specifications.Perform routine maintenance of machines and manage tooling requirements.Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.Maintain a safe and efficient working environment at all times.Required Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a CNC Machinist, Operator, or Programmer in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in CNC machine setup, operation, and programming (Fanuc, Heidenhain, or similar).Ability to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise tolerances.Knowledge of inspection tools and quality assurance processes.Good teamwork and communication skills.Eligibility RequirementDue to Home Office requirement changes, this role is strictly open only to candidates who are already based in the UK and currently hold a valid Post-Graduate Visa.Applications from outside the UK will not be considered.Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience working on heavy-duty or industrial machinery.Exposure to bespoke or customised engineering projects.Apprenticeship or formal training in machining or mechanical engineering.
