This will be supporting individuals with additional needs / behaviour management in the classroom, you may also be required to run small group interventions and top up support to ensure learners can reach their full potentialThis is a challenging yet rewarding role which will provide you the chance to work in a great team of practitioners, who will support you throughout your time there. The successful applicant will:
  • Have experience of working in a secondary school, ideally with SEND pupils.
  • Have experience in dealing with challenging behaviour.
  • Be motivated, positive and dynamic.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Successfully able to support learners on a one to one basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Your role will consist of guiding and supporting a child with learning difficulties.
  • As a one to one Teaching Assistant, you will ensure that all learning plans are followed and updated with the class teacher.
  • Liaising with the class teacher, SENCo and parents/carer.
