ICT Cover SupervisorLocation: ErdingtonStart Date: September 2025Salary: Competitive, dependent on experienceDo you have a passion for technology and a desire to inspire young learners?We are seeking an organised, confident, and adaptable ICT Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students, encourage their engagement in ICTAbout the Role:As an ICT Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, ensuring pupils remain focused on their learning and follow the set lesson plans. While you won’t be expected to plan lessons, your role will be to manage the classroom, provide assistance with ICT tasks, and create a positive and productive learning environment.Role Responsibilities:Supervising ICT classes and ensuring students remain engaged in their workFollowing lesson plans and resources provided by teaching staffSupporting students with ICT tasks, troubleshooting basic issues where neededManaging behaviour in line with school policiesEncouraging independent learning and positive attitudes towards ICTProviding feedback to teachers about pupil progress and behaviourRole Requirements:Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school environmentStrong ICT skills and confidence using a range of software and technologyExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to maintain a calm and positive approach in a classroom settingA proactive attitude and ability to adapt quickly to different classes and situationsA DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one before startingIf you’re enthusiastic about ICT and want to make a positive difference in the classroom, we’d love to hear from you.How to ApplyPlease send your most up to date CV.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
