Job Title: SEN TutorLocation: Leicestershire, LeicesterSalary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hourJob Duties:1. Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).2. Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student.3. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance the academic and social development of students.4. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.Required Qualifications:- Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs.- Experience working with students with SEN.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Education:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.Experience:At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher in a similar role.Knowledge and Skills:- Understanding of various learning styles and strategies for students with SEN.- Ability to differentiate instruction based on individual student needs.- Proficiency in assessment and progress monitoring techniques.- Excellent organisational and time management skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs.- Additional training in relevant areas such as behavioural support or speech therapy.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
