2025-09-01Full TimeTemporaryGeneral OperativeOur client in Sittingbourne, is currently looking for a General Operative to join their developing team on a temporary ongoing basis. Please note this is an extremely physical role, where you will be required to lift, move and manoeuvre stock on a daily basis by hand.Salary and Benefits:
  • £14.41 per hour
  • Monday to Friday
  • 05:30 - 14:00 and 13:30 - 22:00 (rotating shifts each week with occasional weekend work)
  • Sittingbourne, Kent
  • 28 days holiday
  • Weekly pay
  • Full training and PPE is provided
The role:
  • Working independently as well as within a team
  • Adhering to Health and Safety procedures
  • Working within the yard directing incoming traffic
  • General physical duties, lifting, shifting and manoeuvring stock on a daily basis
  • Working in an inside/outside environment depending on the section
Skills and Attributes required:
  • Ability to always work as a team member and on your own ensuring health & safety compliance
  • Good timekeeping/reliable
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness to learn on the job skills for progression
  • Self-motivation
