Blacktop Operative (RE/016/W)You will perform blacktop reinstatement for our client Northern Ireland Water and be part of a three man teamReporting to a Works Supervisor on a daily basisThe ability to work efficiently and to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of workmanshipWilling to work flexible hours and cover emergency work where neededFollow all Health & Safety Guidelines as set out by the CompanyThis is a very busy working environment and we offer ongoing paid overtime (both weekend work and out of hours)About the roleExperience in working with asphalt and bitmac is needed. The work mainly consists of reinstating patches and tracks.Remove spoil and waste materials and dispose of as instructedComplete allocated work(s) and work records within the planned timescales to the standard of Safety and QualityLiaise with the planning/management team throughout the working day to facilitate the completion of planned tasksA professional attitude is expected at all times as the role is working in public areas and on some occasions you will be required to work within a customer's propertyMust have a class 1 or class 2 licenceAbout the companyLeading edge utility & civil engineering with vast experience in the installation and maintenance of electricity, water, sewerage, street-lighting, rail and telecoms supplies throughout the province.Required Criteria
