Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UKWe’re working with a well-established and growing Building Services consultancy based in London that’s looking to hire an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their close-knit team.About the Role:You’ll be working on a variety of exciting projects across the commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use sectors. The role will see you involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to detailed delivery.What You’ll Do:
- Design and specification of electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarms, and data
- Produce detailed designs using AutoCAD and other relevant tools
- Work closely with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams
- Attend client meetings and support project delivery on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
- Strong knowledge of UK standards and regulations
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, Amtech)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Right to work in the UK is essential
