- Develop, implement and optimise welding processes.
- Drive actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality & scrap reduction objectives
- Utilise design software to design fixtures & break it down to customers
- Participate in the daily start-up/accountability meetings
- Manage and implement engineering changes requests from design to production
- Work with NPI Project Engineers to implement new products to existing and new production lines
- Manage and present data to various levels of the organisation
- A recgonised Engineering qualification (Ideally, Production/Manufacturing Engineering)
- Knowledge in welding process development and optimisation would be an advantage
- Knowledge of manual & automated welding again would be an advantage
- Proficiency in using CAD software for design purposes
- A track record with MIG/TIG welding is desirable
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills to effectively work with team members and stakeholders
