An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to join a leading industrial manufacturing team at their new state of the art site in Derbyshire. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about managing & implemeting engineering requests from design to production, working alongside Project Engineers to implement new products to exisiting & new production lines.
  • Develop, implement and optimise welding processes.
  • Drive actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality & scrap reduction objectives
  • Utilise design software to design fixtures & break it down to customers
  • Participate in the daily start-up/accountability meetings
  • Manage and implement engineering changes requests from design to production
  • Work with NPI Project Engineers to implement new products to existing and new production lines
  • Manage and present data to various levels of the organisation
Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 / 15:00 on FridayCareer Progression|Successful ManufacturerYou will be either a Process/Manufacturing/Production/hands on Design Engineer, with experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as:
  • A recgonised Engineering qualification (Ideally, Production/Manufacturing Engineering)
  • Knowledge in welding process development and optimisation would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of manual & automated welding again would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for design purposes
  • A track record with MIG/TIG welding is desirable
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
  • Good communication skills to effectively work with team members and stakeholders
