We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for offering a range of therapeutic activities to patients in hospital experiencing an acute mental health condition.The benefits of being engaged in therapeutic activity are widely recognised in the ward environment. The role of the activity coordinator is key in ensuring this is done thoughtfully, creatively and safely within the ward environment.About the team:Supported by the ward Occupational Therapist and the Multi Disciplinary Team including nurses, doctors and physical wellbeing practitioner, Activity coordinators work closely with the 18 inpatients on the ward to run a programme of group and individual activities.You will become a part of the internationally renowned South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust by joining a hard working and compassionate ward team who strive to offer the best care to people at difficult times in their life.We value diversity and want our teams to represent our population in Lewisham.
