- Ensure that plant breakdowns are rectified as swiftly as possible.
- Ensure root cause of the breakdown / failure is identified and instigate corrective actions
- Maintain current and implement new PPM techniques autonomously
- To achieve departmental performance KPI’s, through anticipating and prioritising scheduled work.
- Flag any performance goals that may be at risk offering any solutions.
- Ensure all work requests and rectification work is recorded on “Frontline” PC tool.
- Ensure equipment performance and history data is effectively communicated.
- To Maintain at all times, safe working conditions and practices in the Maintenance Department
- To comply with the “Electricity at Work Regulations 1989”, the “Health and Safety at Work Act 1974” and company SHE policies.
- To ensure good working order of the Maintenance Department tools, plant and safety equipment
- Organise any maintenance, repair, overhaul and replacement as necessary.
- Ensure all work is carried out to known and approved codes of practice.
- Where necessary participate in contractor work standard of installation audits.
- Monitor supplies of materials and spare parts. Implementing purchase orders where required.
- To liaise with all equipment and spares suppliers as and when required.
- To take responsibility to ensure own personal development
- To accept ownership of the departmental image and appearance.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities including; 5S, Root cause analysis, 5Y, etc.
- Salary is competitive dependent on experiences/skills/qualifications
