This is a fantastic opportunity to support secondary-aged pupils with additional needs, helping them to build confidence, develop positive behaviours, and succeed both in and out of the classroom.What You’ll Do:Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, focusing on emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning.Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and families to provide consistent and effective support.Build positive, trusting relationships with students to help them overcome challenges and build resilience.Empower students to develop both academically and personally, helping them grow in confidence and independence.About You:Experience working with young people in any capacity—whether in education, care, youth work, or other support roles—is highly valued.Ex-prison officers, ex-police officers, youth workers, or those with backgrounds in mentoring or pastoral care are encouraged to apply.You’ll need patience, emotional resilience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.A genuine passion for supporting young people with social, emotional, or behavioural needs.The Details:Full-time position (term time only)Hours may vary depending on the provisionExcellent transport links and located within a supportive local communityFull training provided – no prior school experience necessaryWhy Join Us?The opportunity to work as part of a passionate, inclusive school community.
