- Liaise with the structural engineering team to plan workload and resource.
- Completion of structural engineering design to agreed quality, cost and time targets.
- Develop cross discipline project coordination with architectural and building services engineering design colleagues
- Support the delivery of high quality management and delivery of projects and programmes to the required quality, cost and agreed timescales.
- Achieve successful client relationships and ensure clients receive sound professional advice.
- Maintain good quality project files and records; update systems and financial reports.
- Responsible for identifying new business opportunities.
- Fee earning at 90%, and contribute to the achievement of business plan objectives and targets.
- This role requires frequent travel to other offices and sites as required.
- Carry out duties appropriate to the grade of the post.
- Promote continuous improvement and deliver demonstrable high quality products and services which embrace quality standards.

- Graduate membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers - Essential
- Degree, BEng or MEng and working towards Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer status - Essential
- Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain - Essential
- Proficient in the use of autoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structural Design or equivalent software analysis and design packages - Essential
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite - Essential
- Familiar with relevant design codes of practice across all main materials- Essential
- Familiar with construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos - Desirable
- Familiar with legislative and behavioural requirements around the Building Safety Act - Desirable
- Experience in a similar or related role of between 2 -4 years post-graduate - Desirable
