Academics are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for full time and part time role at local primary schools in Aberdare and surrounding areas.The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working in education, happy to prepare lessons when required to do so and is flexible.HLTA Primary Duties:
  • Leading the nursery class within the school.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with other staff members
  • Be a role model to all pupils

What we need from you
  • HLTA qualification with secure knowledge of primary education.
  • Level 3 teaching and learning qualification.
  • An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two recent and professional references
