- Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and high-quality Food Technology lessons.
- Teach students practical cooking skills alongside theory and nutrition.
- Ensure a safe, organised, and well-maintained learning environment.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in food technology and nutrition.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to professional development and collaborative working.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
