- Analysing business functions, processes, data & application architecture dimensions for the assigned subject area to produce optimum target architecture with viable interim states
- Grasping and managing complexity of the data integration environment and simplifying the landscape in compliance with data architecture standards and principles
- Ensuring that solutions are secure by design and core software can run on-prem or on-cloud with minimum customisation. Ensuring that vendor products integration happens within non-functional constraints as per bank standards
- Supporting & coaching technical leads across multiple squads by aiding Agile decisions while steering the architecture runway towards strategic direction
- Maintaining solution designs, architecture decision records, technical decision logs and technical debt registers and ensuring that these get embedded into Agile way of working for delivery squads
- Recent experience as a solution architect in a top-tier Bank or Fintech designing data intensive applications while operating in an Agile environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to interface and with senior business and technology stakeholders as well as product managers, engineers, QA's and DevOps
- Experience rolling out large scale in-house and/or vendor products from inception to production considering for resilience, security & scalability requirements
- Competent in usage of tools like SparxEA, ArchiMate, Power Designer, Draw.io and comfortable utilising these tools during collaborative online workshops with stakeholders
- Prior hands-on experience in Java, Oracle, Kubernetes, MQ, Terraform and GCP preferred. Familiar with enterprise grade security standards and protocols
- Experience designing physical data models for relational and/or NoSQL databases with experience in frameworks like Apache Camel and Apache Spark. Any experience in SOLR would be nice to have
