- A well-established school is seeking an enthusiastic, devoted, and caring learning support assistant to work with children with special educational needs.
- The school is looking for someone to provide support to children on a one-to-one and small-group basis in a classroom setting, working alongside a Teacher and additional support staff.
- Promote student engagement and participation during lessons.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment that encourages growth and independence for all students.
- Providing education and care for young children and young people from the ages of 6-19 with a variety of social, emotional, physical and learning difficulties, including autism and visual impairment.
- The school is set in beautiful surroundings and encourages children and young adults to flourish in a nurturing and caring environment.
- All students receive personal Social and Health Education and those of secondary age receive careers advise and guidance by supportive and caring staff.
- The overall aim of the school is to prepare young people for life and to achieve the best possible outcome for students
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have relevant experience supporting students with autism, social, emotional, physical and severe learning difficulties.
- Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Are dedicated, compassionate, and eager to go the extra mile to support the students in your care.
- Can provide appropriate references and pass a DBS check.
