Pay Rate to Intermediary: £500 per daySpinwell is recruiting for a Director - Patent Data for an excellent opportunity within the private sector.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR - PATENT DATA
- Data Management: Lead the collection, processing, and analysis of patent data, ensuring accuracy and completeness, as well as alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, legal experts, and business stakeholders, to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the patent data landscape.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a detailed roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and strategic objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, business, or law. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in working with Intellectual Property data
- IP Knowledge: Strong understanding of Intellectual Property, particularly patents, with experience working with IP data and PTOs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools, data engineering, software development methodologies, and project management frameworks.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
