Joining a growing and exciting R&D team, they are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to undertake the full product design cycle across as well as existing product design across their advanced bespoke digital products. Hybrid working available - 3/2 WFH split; you will need to be based locally. Key skills and experience required for Mechanical Design Engineer, based in Dorset: • Qualified to a degree level in a related discipline • Significant experience of the full design process from concept to manufacture • Experienced in conceptual design and detailed implementation • Knowledge of working with sheet metal, plastic moulding, solid components and packaging (enclosure, cabinets etc) • Relevant CAD package experience, SolidWorks desirable This is a great chance to join a growing company who can offer the opportunity for career progression and personal development.
