- Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Medical Ultrasound, or a certificate/diploma from the College of Radiographers in Medical Ultrasound. Alternatively, they can hold an equivalent international level of qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
- **Minimum 5 years post qualification as a sonographer as you will be working independently without a Sonography colleague and Radiologist support, it is of paramount importance our staff have substantial scanning experience in the environment in which we work**
- Have performed and reported on a minimum of 900 ultrasound scans in the last 12 months. The applicant must have maintained their Continued Professional Development in accordance with professional guidelines.
- Also, meet the relevant specification set out by the National Occupation Standards for imaging of anatomical areas.
- The new staff member will have English as a first language or if English is a second language would have passed a suitable English language examination to the level required by the Health Professions Council.
- The applicant will need to be a UK registered sonographer that is registered on the HCPC/SOR register.
