– 24-Hour On-Call Rota: Participate in an on-call rota within Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and receive enhanced payment for your flexibility.What you will do:– Deliver high-quality, needs-led services as a multidisciplinary team member, working flexibly across a 7-day week.
– Respond promptly to urgent and emergency requests for assessments and support, meeting young people where they are most comfortable.
– Conduct prompt and efficient psychosocial assessments and treatments, providing an alternative pathway to avoid hospital admissions.
– Develop and maintain systems to effectively manage emergency and crisis situations.
– Carry Clinical Care Coordinator responsibilities, managing care plans including crisis and risk management.
– Implement and coordinate evidence-based interventions to support the recovery of young people and their families.
– Work closely with external agencies such as police and addiction services to support young people.
– Engage in clear and accurate record-keeping, fostering continuous reflection and improvement in practice.
– Supervise and mentor junior staff and students, offering guidance and support for professional development.
– Keep abreast of current clinical knowledge and participate in relevant training events.To join us, you will need:– A qualification in Mental Health Nursing, OT, or Social Work.
– Post-qualification experience in a mental health setting, especially with young people and families.
– Experience in mentoring and clinical supervision.
