6. Develop, design, and deliver regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards to visualise key metrics and insights for different departments (e.g., finance, marketing, sales,
operations).
7. Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
8. Translate complex data into understandable and compelling reports tailored to nontechnical stakeholders.
9. Work with data engineers to ensure your team’s data is timely, accurate and
accessible.
10. Conduct regular audits and validation checks on datasets to ensure compliance with
data standards.TECHNICAL & SOFT SKILLSEssential:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, statistics, or related field, and/or
significant experience in data analytics role; preferably both.
2. Proven ability to deliver value through insights, reporting and analysis.
3. Comfortable using SQL to retrieve, manipulate and filter data.
4. Experience building interactive dashboards (preferably using Looker) that support decision making.
5. Excellent communication skills; able to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Knowledge of statistics and probability.
7. Data intuition – an understanding of biases present in real-world data and strategies to deal with them.
Desirable:
1. Experience within the customer service industry, retail energy, and/or a SaaS company.
2. Python coding skills.
3. Experience with Databricks.
4. Knowledge of data engineering / ETL processes.
5. Knowledge of experimental design, experience with a/b tests.
