An exciting opportunity to join an established, dynamic End of Life Care Team delivering a comprehensive education programme to meet the needs of our healthcare workforce. Acting as an educational resource, mentor and role-model, working alongside our clinical teams. Providing professional leadership advice and support, fostering a learning culture which values high quality patient care.Main duties of the jobDelivery of Palliative and EOLC training and education through a variety of methods including formal presentations to large groups of staff. Excellent communications skills are essential, making use of all available methods of communication to build and develop effective communication networks and processes both within the specialist area, the Trust and external organisations. Supporting the implementation of change and the development of the service within the specialist area of practice, leading staff and facilitating the change process whilst encouraging others to be innovative and adaptable in their approach to change. Auditing of EOLC initiatives at a local and national level.
