
Operations Manager

- Ensure that the customer needs are fully understood and translated into effective operational plans
- Establish a positive working relationship with the customer and all associated functions, product teams, transport providers, IT systems, quality and other service departments and resolve problems to the benefit of the business
- Aid in the management and planning of the people resource ensuring that the correct level of resource is available to manage the specific peaks for the whole operation
- Review operational performance with a view to providing a culture of continuous improvement
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification would be advantageous
- Previous experience in Continuous Improvement is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Demonstrate experience in a fast moving retail logistic operation
