- Engaging Lessons: Deliver inspiring and energetic Dance lessons across key stages, encouraging creativity and confidence.
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement innovative lesson plans that explore various dance styles and techniques.
- Student Progress: Monitor and assess student performance, offering constructive feedback to support their artistic journey.
- Inclusive Environment: Create a classroom atmosphere where all students feel empowered and respected.
- School Community: Participate in school performances, events, and contribute to the wider Performing Arts culture.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality curriculum.
- Pastoral Support: Promote student well-being and provide guidance where needed.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Dance at the secondary level is ideal, but ECTs and unqualified teachers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment: A genuine passion for Dance education and a dedication to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Preparedness: An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
