Hours of Work: Full-time (40 hrs per week, Monday–Friday)Overview:Hardman Grey Recruitment is partnering with our client to recruit a Graduate / Project Civil Engineer . You’ll support civil design projects in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors, working on schemes up to £40 million in value.The Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing below-ground foul and surface water drainage systems
- Undertaking civil design across multidisciplinary projects (up to £40m)
- Producing AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation
- Liaising with planning departments and flood authorities
- Contributing to SuDS design and highway-drainage interface
- Managing deadlines and self-organising workload
- A relevant civil engineering qualification plus 2–3 years’ experience
- Experience with drainage systems, SuDS, and highways integration
- Competence in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and/or InfoDrainage
- Strong initiative and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
