BMT is seeking a customer-focused Technical Engineer/Scientist to join our award-winning TUFLOW team in the UK. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of modelling technology, supporting our global R&D efforts and delivering expert guidance to users across the UK and Europe.Based from our Leeds or London office, you'll collaborate closely with our international R&D team to test and benchmark new developments, provide technical support and training, and help shape the future of TUFLOW software. If you're inquisitive, love solving complex problems, and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.About YouYou're a curious and solutions-driven professional with a passion for hydraulic and environmental modelling. With at least two years of UK-based experience using TUFLOW for flood risk management, you bring both technical expertise and a customer-first mindset.You thrive on:
  • Testing and benchmarking new software developments
  • Supporting users across the UK and Europe with expert modelling advice
  • Delivering and assisting with technical training
  • Collaborating with R&D to shape product evolution
  • Contributing to technical papers and conference presentations
You're confident using GIS tools like QGIS, ArcMap or MapInfo, and you're eager to expand your knowledge into coastal, sediment transport, or water quality modelling.
