  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A solid understanding of the Design & Technology curriculum
  • A specialism in Food Technology or Engineering is desirable, but applicants with specialisms in other areas of Design & Technology are also encouraged to apply
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A enhanced child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional references from recent employment
Your Role:
  • Teach engaging Design & Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, covering both practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum
  • Make full use of the school’s modern facilities and resources to enhance student learning
  • Motivate and challenge students of varying abilities, encouraging them to develop a love for the subject
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, promoting D&T beyond the classroom
