- Relevant degree or professional/management qualification, or substantial operational experience in HR.
- Good understanding of the schools and academies business, and HR sector, including pay and conditions in education and public sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment and case law, with practical application in delivering HR services within commercial and challenging environments.
- Proven ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused HR advice with an awareness of risk management and improvement opportunities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences and situations.
- Successful experience working with and influencing Trade Unions and/or employee representatives.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
