The Merchandise & Supply Chain Assistant will play a vital role in supporting retail operations within the transport and distribution industry. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to manage supply chain processes and ensure merchandise availability.
  • Navigating and updating our ERP stock management system - previous experience is a plus, but fast learners welcome.
  • Using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to organise, analyse, and update key information.
  • Managing and updating accurate data for shipping, purchase orders, and product specifications.
  • Monitoring timelines and keeping our critical path on track for product launches.
  • Communicating daily with transport agents and suppliers in the UK and overseas to ensure smooth delivery schedules.
  • Coordinating incoming stock shipments from the Far East to UK and USA warehouses
